Brusho Box and Anything Goes!

This month the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge is, "Anything Goes", and the prize is a whopping $12 to spend in the gorgeous Di'd Digis online store.

I was lucky enough to go to a workshop with Karen Clare (AKA The Clock Lady!)  in which we put together and decorated a set of drawers for our Brusho (swoon!) collections.
We began by assembling and painting the Candy Box Crafts (items can be bought from Karen) and then we decorated the card panels for the drawers and front, using our Brushos, and to our own design.
I decided to use the pearlised side of the card (Crafter's Companion Centura Pearl in a cream colour) to see what happened!
I built the panels up using a selection of stamps (mainly Dyan Reaveley) and stencils, the colours were built up layer upon layer using the Brushos, which provide a great effect and because of their translucent quality, can provide differing depths of colours.
To finish we stuck handles on using nuts and screws from Wilko's "Fill a bag", range!
My Brushos are very happy with their new home :)
Happy Crafting,
Denyse x
