Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Chistmas to you all, I hpoe this finds you happy and well with family and friends.
The Crafts Galore Encore Challenge theme this month is "Anything Goes", and is sponsored by Beccy's Place, with the winner receiving their choice of three digis or a set of digis from HERE

I decided to try a non traditional image for a Christmas card so I picked the free Owl image available from the Beccy's Place Blog.
I started by colouring my image with my Copics and using liquid glass to accent the eyes. I then use a spellbinders die to cut out the aperture. My favourite bit was the background. I cut a circle out of pearlised cream card using my spellbinder's die. I then sprinkled my brushos liberally and squirted with water! I then took some Stmpendous aged white embossing paper, sprinkled it on randomly and heated from beneath with my heat gun then I added some cut out stars which I also embossed with the aged embossing powder. To finish I used a Sizzix die to cut the word "Joy", out of gold card and used a pearl to dot the joy!
I hope you like it as it is not a traditional image to use on a Christmas card!
Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting!
