For my project I decided to use two samples I have just created for the Stamp Addicts' show on Hochanda TV.
My first project was created by pulling a gelliplate print using layers of different acrylic paints and various stencils.. I then stamped on to the yellow circles and the corner, using Archival Ink.I kept the card simple by picking out the main colours in the matting and layering. I thought it ended up with a slightly "Oriental", feel to it.
My second project was created by repeatedly dropping alcohol ink on to glossy card (and aiming for the centre of already created circles) Dropping the ink creates a smooth circle which sponging etc couldn't achieve. I then inked the smaller stamps leaving the stalk at a length that matched the rest of the head making more of an orb. I love the fact that this leaves the card open to interpretation!
I am also very pleased to announce that I have been lucky enough to have been offered a place on a new Dt at Jade's Sparkling Butterflies! I will start posting my creations for them in June.
